Description

This is one of the smaller unions merging into the new 'ver.di' (Vereinigte Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft or United Service Union). (...) The flag of IG Medien —a sample of which I had got for free from the union headquarters— shows on a red background the logo outlined in white, and the inscription "Industriegewerkschaft Medien". Source: flag of IG Medien in my flag collection. (...) My flag specimen has a size of 485 × 620 mm. I do not think that there are prescribed proportions for the flags of the trade unions.
